Maharagwe Recipe

Maharagwe Recipe Ingredients:

  • ¼ Onion, Chopped
  • 5 Scotch Bonnet Peppers, Whole
  • 1 Root Ginger
  • 5 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Cup Water
  • ¼ Cup Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1 Tomato,Blended
  • 1 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 Tbsps Curry Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Garam Masala
  • 1 Tbsp Cumin Powder
  • 2 Tsps Paprika Pepper
  • 2 Cups Coconut Milk
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 2 Cups Kidney Beans, Boiled

Maharagwe Recipe Method:

  1. In a blender, add onion, scotch bonnet peppers. ginger, garlic, water and blend for garlic blend.
  2.  In a pot on medium heat, add oil, 1 cup garlic blend, tomato paste, blended tomato, mix and cover to cook for 2 mins.
  3. In the same pot, add black pepper, curry powder, garam masala, cumin powder, paprika pepper, coconut milk, salt, kidney beans, mix and cover to cook for 2 mins.
  4. Serve hot.
