Ingredients For Calzone Recipe

  • 2 Cups White Flour
  • 1 Tbsp Yeast
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • ½ Cup Warm Water
  • 1 Cup Oil
  • 100g Ground Beef
  • 1/8 Onions, Chopped
  • 1 Jar Tomato Sauce
  • ½ Can Whole Mushrooms
  • 1 Tbsp Oregano
  • 1 Egg
  • Mozzarella Cheese. Shredded.

Methods To Make Calzone Recipe

  • In a bowl add flour, yeast, salt, warm water, ½ cup oil and cover and store in a warm place for an hour.
  • Then knead and mix dough well till it is at a harder consistency.
  • In a pot, add ½ cup oil, ground beef, onions, tomato sauce, mushrooms, oregano and cover to cook for 2 mins.
  • Place flour on a board and rolling pin and roll out the dough till desired thickness and size.
  • Egg wash edges of the dough and fill the center of the dough with the tomato sauce filling and mozzarella cheese. Fold the dough over and poke holes in it with a fork, egg wash entire calzone pie.
  • Bake at 204 °C for 15 mins
